The best croissants west of France are baked in Santa Barbara at Renaud Gonthier’s eponymous patisserie, Renaud’s.  When Renaud approached us to promote his bakeries, we jumped at the chance to create a thirty second visual essay on a special kind of happiness:  a little bit of France in Santa Barbara.   We were paid partly in croissants - a deal for him and a steal for us.  Check out additional spots and still frames below.
